Job summary

CJW Medical Center is seeking a passionate ECHO Technologist to provide quality care and support patient experiences. The role involves analyzing cardiac anatomy, assisting physicians during procedures, and maintaining lab equipment. Candidates must be prepared to work shifts from Friday to Sunday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with some flexibility.

Qualifications

Job Summary And Qualifications

• Performs accurate analysis of all cardiac anatomy and assimilates appropriate data necessary for interpretation of the study.
• Assists the physician as needed during procedures and monitors physiological parameters during procedures.
• Performs job to ensure quality care is provided within defined area of accountability.
• Completes department appropriate technologist structure reporting protocol as set forth by the accrediting body.
• Restocks work areas with necessary supplies. Keeps work areas clean and orderly to promote patient safety.
• Maintains lab equipment to ensure optimal functioning by inspecting for breakdown, troubleshooting and communicating with appropriate repair persons.
• Submits activity reports as requested.
• Participates actively in continuing education and assists in education of new staff as requested.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED.
• (RDCS) Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.

Shift

• Friday-Sunday 7a-7p (some flexibility).
