Job summary

Medical City Plano, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks an Echo Tech PRN to perform cardiac ultrasound studies including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms. This role covers 2 weekends per month, 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., with supervision as needed.

Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited cardiovascular program, ARDMS/CCI registry, RDCS/RCS or active registry, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Cardiovascular Program or equivalent.
• ARDMS/CCI registry required or active registry.
• RDCS or RCS certification preferred or active registry.
• BLS provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasound studies (TTE, TEE, stress echo) without supervision.
• Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety policies and procedures.

Job Summary and Qualifications - $38/hr - Looking for coverage 2 weekends a month 7a-5:30p shift

Perform cardiac ultrasound without supervision to include, but not limited to transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms Sonographers will have technical skill of studies as well as instrumentation, maintenance of equipment function and safety policy and procedures.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an Accredited Cardiovascular Program AND/OR
• Must have registry through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Minimum of one year experience in echocardiography is preferred
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or must hold active registry through ARDMS or CCI
• Current American Heart Association BLS provider
