Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking experienced local Echo Techs for our Laurinburg clinic to join a full-time cardiology team. This clinic-based position features no weekends, holidays, or on-call duties, and relocation is welcome for out-of-state candidates.

Responsibilities include performing 2D echocardiography, M-mode, and Doppler studies on adult patients, with careful data collection and timely reporting of critical findings to physicians.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Formal training in Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound/Cardiovascular Technology required.
• At least 1 year of echo experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac ultrasounds on adult patients using 2D echocardiography, M-mode, and Doppler techniques.
• Collect and evaluate clinical data, reporting life-threatening findings promptly to physicians.

We are looking for experienced local Echo Techs, or experienced out-of-state Echo Techs looking to relocate to NC to join our nationally recognized hospital system for a Full-Time position!

• Will be responsible for conducting cardiac ultrasounds on adult patients utilizing 2D echocardiography, M-mode, and echocardiography with color flow/doppler.
• Will be responsible for collecting and evaluating clinical data while recognizing and reporting life-threatening findings in a timely manner to physician.

*Clinic Based Echo Tech position-Cardiology Clinic. Will be working at our Laurinburg Clinic.

• Associate degree or Higher level
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Formal Training in Diagnostic Cardiac Ultrasound/Cardiovascular Technology required
• At least 1 year of echo experience required
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer RDCS (OR) Registered Cardiac Sonographer RCS required
• Reliable transportation and valid NC driver's license required
