Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking an Echocardiography professional to perform ultrasound imaging of cardiac structures, measure valve and chamber function, and assist physicians during procedures. The role supports the Cardiopulmonary Department and ensures efficient clerical operations and accurate information handling.

Responsibilities include acquiring high-quality images, aiding in TEE procedures when needed, and leveraging prior hospital cardiology experience to support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Completion of Echocardiogram program certification preferred.
• EKG rhythm analysis / interpretation certificate or equivalent preferred.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current required.
• Able to assist physician with TEE testing preferred.
• Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred.
• Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferred.
• Registered Echocardiographer preferred.
• ARDMS or CCI credential required.
• Able to perform stress testing preferred.

Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures. Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

2. Completion of Echocardiogram program certification preferred.
