Job summary

Coshocton Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Echo/Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join our Cardiopulmonary Department on a per diem basis. You will operate ultrasound equipment, measure cardiac structures, and support physicians during procedures.

Responsibilities include performing echocardiograms, assisting with TEE testing, and maintaining accurate documentation while delivering compassionate patient care in East Central Ohio.

Qualifications

  • Completion of Echocardiogram program within 90 days of hire or equivalent training.
  • Current BCLS certificate required.
  • Ability to assist physician with TEE testing.
  • Previous Echocardiograms on all ages preferred.
  • ARDMS or CCI certification required within 90 days.
  • Proficient computer skills.

  • Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.
  • Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through appropriate utilization and management of clerical functions within the department.

Responsibilities

Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow. Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures. Promotes the smooth and efficient operation of the Cardiopulmonary Department through the appropriate utilization and management of all clerical functions within the department document handling and disposition, interpersonal relationships and information gathering and dispersion.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  • Completion of Echocardiogram program within 90 days of hire or equivalent training required
  • Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current required
  • Able to assist physician with TEE testing required
  • Previous experience in performing Echocardiograms of all ages preferred
  • Hospital experience in the Cardiology field preferredli>
  • Effective July 1, 2017 ARDMS or CCI Required within 90 days of hire
  • Proficient computer skills.
