Prometheus Federal Services (PFS), a trusted partner to federal health agencies, has an opening for an ECHO Sonographer at the Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Everett, WA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• The ECHO Sonographer shall carry out medical cardiology functions with a certified Medical ECHO Sonographer. Certification by the Medical ECHO Sonographer Certification Board is required, and the candidate shall receive technical direction from the VA Cardiology Medical Service.
• Perform treatment planning for Echocardiograms, Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies in conjunction with the Contractor’s Echo Sonographer.
• Calculate prescribed doses, document in patient files, and verify the mathematical accuracy of all calculations using the system established by the Contractor’s Echosonographers.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least one (1) year of relevant experience.
• Associates or Bachelors Degree.
• ARDMS Board Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Fluent in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to obtain a public trust clearance.
