Ardent Health Services in Westwood, NJ is seeking a Day-Shift PRN Cardiac Non-Invasive Echo/EKG Technician to join our hospital imaging team. You will perform ultrasound procedures, assist in EKGs, and support stress testing in a high-tech clinical environment.

The role requires graduation from an accredited ultrasound program, current cardiac sonography registry, and BLS within 14 days of hire. Preceptorship for new staff is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound or cardiovascular ultrasound program.
• Experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• Current ARDMS or CCI registry, or registry-eligible.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsabilités

• Performs professional, technical, and administrative duties for cardiac ultrasound procedures using specialized ultrasound equipment.
• Participates in routine EKGs, Holter monitoring, and assists in all phases of stress testing.
• Experienced staff function as preceptor and resource to new employees.

• Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU.

Responsibilities

Performs professional, technical, and administrative duties for cardiac ultrasound procedures using specialized ultrasound equipment at a highly advanced level. Participates in routine EKG's, Holter monitoring, and assists in all phases of stress testing. Experienced staff function as preceptor and resource to new employees.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound or cardiovascular ultrasound program.
• Experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• Current and valid ARDMS or CCI registry, or registry-eligible.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
