Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL seeks an ECHO Cardiology Tech (PRN) to perform non-invasive cardiology studies including ECHO, EKG, stress testing and TEE for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. Schedule: Days with call; you will be considered for openings you qualify for.

Must graduate from AMA Echocardiography program with 1 year experience in non-invasive cardiology and hold BLS. ARDMS/RCIS/CCI or ARCS are expected; strong communication and patient service skills are

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in non-invasive cardiology studies including ECHO, EKG, Stress testing, TEE.
• Must perform M-mode, 2-D, Color Doppler on neonatal, pediatric and adult patients.

Responsibilities

• Develop interdepartmental relations and physician relations.
• Provide excellent customer service with a can-do attitude.
• Perform other duties as assigned within Cardiology.

Job Overview:

Must be proficient in non-Invasive Cardiology studies to include ECHO, EKG, Stress testing, TEE studies. Able to perform M-mode, 2-D, Color flow Doppler on cardiac neonates, pediatric and adult patients and all other duties as assigned within the Cardiology department.

General Responsibilities:

• Must develop interdepartmental relations and physician relations.
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and a 'Can do' attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited AMA Echocardiography Ultrasound school.
• 1 Year experience in Non-Invasive Cardiology Echo, EKG, Stress, required.
• Must have adult and pediatric echo experience.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification, required.
• RCS / RCIS / RCDS, ARDMS licensure or equivalent.
• ARCS or CCI required.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
