Universal Health Services seeks an Echocardiography technologist to perform echocardiographic procedures to aid in heart disease diagnosis in a hospital setting. The candidate should be enrolled in or recently completed an accredited Sonography program and demonstrate strong patient care.
Preferred candidates have up to six months of cardiac ultrasound experience and registry within two years (ARDMS or CCI). BLS is required during new hire orientation.
Performs Echocardiographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of heart disease.
Currently enrolled and graduating from an accredited Sonography program within 3 months of hire, or completion of an accredited Sonography program, preferred.
Prefer six months experience in cardiac ultrasound.
Registry preferred within two years of employment with ARDMS or CCI. BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider course according to RQI program guidelines must be completed during new hire orientation prior to working in a clinical setting.
Must be able to identify and competently address needs of population served.
