Job summary

Amergis is seeking an Echo Cardiographer Technician for a travel position in Springfield, MA. The role involves performing vascular and echocardiography ultrasound exams under general supervision and contributing to ECG/hotter analyses and arrhythmia reporting.

Candidates should have an associated degree or relevant experience, CPR where required, and compliance with applicable standards. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or experience in a related field preferred and/or per state requirements
• One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technician preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Under general supervision, performs vascular andechocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients. Participates in a variety of specializedtechnical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography(ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, andgenerating quantitative arrhythmia reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or experience in a related fieldpreferred and/or per state requirements


• One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technicianpreferred


• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice


• Current CPR if applicable
