Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technician for a Baltimore, Maryland assignment. The technician will perform vascular and echocardiography ultrasound exams under general supervision, on a 40-hour weekly schedule for a 13-week duration.

Minimum requirements include an associate’s degree or related field experience and at least 1 year as a cardiovascular technician; CPR is required where applicable, with compliance to all regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or related field preferred and/or per state requirements.
• 1 year of experience as a Cardiovascular technician preferred.
• Current CPR, TB questionnaire or chest x-ray as applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs vascular and echocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients.
• Generates quantitative arrhythmia reports and analyzes ECG data.

Under general supervision, performs vascular andechocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients. Participates in a variety of specializedtechnical evaluation procedures, including analyzing digitized electrocardiography(ECG) tapes, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography, andgenerating quantitative arrhythmia reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or experience in a related fieldpreferred and/or per state requirements
• One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technicianpreferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
