Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts.

The role lasts 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and an 8-hour shift. Responsibilities include performing vascular and echocardiography ultrasound examinations and generating quantitative arrhythmia reports under general supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or experience in a related field preferred.
• One (1) year of experience as a Cardiovascular technician preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, performs vascular and echocardiography ultrasound examinations for patients.
• Participates in specialized evaluation procedures including ECG tapes analysis, Holter monitoring, cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography.
• Generates quantitative arrhythmia reports.
