Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to join the Echo/Cardiology team. The role focuses on 2D/ M-Mode, Doppler studies, and Stress Echocardiograms, with responsibilities including transesophageal echocardiography and related procedures.

The candidate will support the diagnostic cardiology department, extend patient care, and maintain equipment cleanliness and readiness.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular sonography.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS Health Care Provider required.
• Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D/M-Mode, Doppler, and Stress Echocardiograms.
• Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms and process orders/reports.
• Transport patients to/from department for testing as needed.
• Assist in other diagnostic cardiology duties (EKG, Holter, Stress Testing).
• Maintain records for cleaning and equipment upkeep.
