Qualifications

• 1 year of Electrocardiograph Technician experience preferred.
• CPR certification within 180 days required.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrocardiograms (ECGs) and apply longer term ECG monitors (24 hrs to 30 days).
• Educate adult and pediatric patients on testing procedures.
• Position patients correctly, apply electrodes accurately, assess ECG tracings.
• Facilitate stress testing under supervision of cardiology staff.
• Collaborate with clinical staff throughout the hospital.
• Learn on the job with hands-on experience.
