Job summary

Anoka-Hennepin Schools is seeking a part-time ECFE/Preschool Proactive Intervention Program Assistant in Minnesota. The role supports students with PIP plans, communicates with families, and collaborates with the classroom team to plan for individual needs.

Responsibilities include leading group and individual activities, assisting in teaching, attending staff meetings, and completing paperwork. Some evenings may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Handle with Care training and/or experience with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead in implementing Proactive Intervention Program (PIP) strategies in the classroom.
• Maintain communication with parents/guardians at pick-up/drop-off.
• Participate in classroom team meetings to support students with needs.
• Complete paperwork including Behavior Incident Reports (BIRs).
• Assist in activities for children ages 3-5 and their parents in ECFE.
• Support teaching of academic and social skills through planned activities.
