Job summary

Snohomish County Human Services Department in Everett, WA is seeking a Human Services Specialist II-ECEAP (Social-Emotional) Coordinator to lead collaboration with school districts, tribes, licensed child care centers and nonprofits to develop and implement an early learning social-emotional model.

You will support staff and partners, provide training and technical assistance, and ensure compliance with requirements while building capacity through data management and coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, social sciences or related field.
• Two years' progressively responsible experience in human services program planning, grant preparation and management or related field.
• Must pass job-related tests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates program planning and development activities with supervisors, staff, agencies and community groups.
• Develops needs assessments and prepares program plans, budgets and contract documents.
• Manages data collection and reporting, prepares data analyses.
• Negotiates contracts with subcontractors; monitors performance and provides corrective actions.
• Participates in program budgets and contract negotiations with funding sources; monitors internal budgets.
• Provides information and technical assistance to subcontractors.
• Researches and prepares applications for funding.
• Staffs advisory boards and facilitates community meetings.
• Keeps informed of federal, state and local regulations related to programs.
• Leads community education, training and mobilization efforts.
• Supports funding applications processes and cross-department collaboration.
