Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Passing score on the KPA (Kentucky Paraeducator Exam) or 48 college semester hours.
• Willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
• Physical ability to assist with physical needs of students such as positioning, toileting, and lifting.
• Willingness to attend district ECE in-service for professional growth.
• Effective communication skills.
• If your highest education is High School or GED you must take and pass the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment Exam.
• Applicants with transcripts obtained outside the U.S. will need to have their credentials evaluated prior to being referred for vacancies.
• Falsification of an employment application is grounds for exclusion from consideration and/or termination.
