Twin Rivers Unified School District is hiring an ECE Paraeducator for a 4 hours per day slot in Vineland. You will assist preschool teachers with education, care, supervision, and instruction in classrooms, common areas, and playgrounds.

Responsibilities include maintaining and preparing classroom environments and materials, supporting a play-based curriculum, and helping implement developmentally appropriate activities for preschool children. Part-time position with benefits for eligible staff.

Position Summary

Assists one or more Early Childhood teachers in the education, care, supervision, and instruction of pre-school aged children, in classrooms, common areas, and playgrounds at a center dedicated to pre-kindergarten children, and in the community. Maintains and prepares classroom and related environments, materials, and control of forms. Assists in developing play-oriented curriculum.

Employee Type: Part-Time

Salary: $19.61 - $25.94 per hour in 9 annual steps. Salary placement is based on relevant experience.

Location: Vineland

Hours: 4 hours/day; 5 days/week

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Employee Life Insurance available for employees who work 4+ hours per day (Full district contribution for 6+ hours/day; 50% contribution for 4-5.99 hours/day).

Education and Experience

The position requires a High School diploma and 6 college units of Early Child Development, Early Childhood Education or other related field with emphasis on infant to pre-school age children. Licenses and Certifications

May require a valid driver’s license. CPR/First Aid certificate with pediatric endorsement.

• Copy of Transcript (Transcripts Showing 6 ECE Units)

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Requires a valid First-Aid card and CPR certificate)

• Proof of HS Graduation - High School Diploma or High School Transcripts or equivalent (ex: GED)

• NCLB Compliance (48 college units (semester) or pass the Paraeducator Proficiency Exam)

• Resume (Provide clear evidence of required experience)
