Job summary

Kido USA in Chicago is seeking an experienced ECE Leader to support daily operations and quality of our early childhood program. This school-level leadership role focuses on staffing, coaching, licensing compliance, and program quality, under the guidance of school leadership.

The ideal candidate will have Director Qualified status under DCFS 407 or equivalent credentials, plus 5+ years in licensed childcare or ECE leadership.

Qualifications

• Must be Director Qualified per Illinois DCFS 407 guidelines.
• Experience working in licensed childcare or preschool settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience supporting or leading early childhood educators.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach teachers to improve program quality.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, onboarding, and retention.
• Ensure licensing compliance and safety standards.
• Foster positive family relationships and team collaboration.
• Partner with leadership to implement educational philosophy and curriculum.
