Job summary

Jefferson County Public Schools is seeking an ECE Instructional Assistant to support students with disabilities in a variety of programs. The role operates on a 187-day, 7-hour calendar with a salary placement under the 1A Grade 8 schedule. A stipend of $1.00 per hour applies for ECE duties.

Responsibilities include implementing each student's IEP, maintaining a safe and structured learning environment, and participating in ECE in-service sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Passing score on the KPA or 48 college semester hours.
• Willingness and aptitude to work with students with disabilities.
• Physical ability to assist with physical needs of students.
• Willingness to attend district ECE in-service for growth.
• Effective communication skills.
• If your highest education is HS/GED you must pass the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment Exam.
• Credentials from outside the U.S. must be evaluated before vacancies refer.
