Orleans Niagara BOCES is seeking an Early Childhood Education Instructor to teach high school students in the ECE program and supervise the on-site preschool. The role blends classroom instruction with preschool program management, curriculum development, and hands-on learning experiences for students.

The ideal candidate holds NYS certification in Early Childhood Education and will guide students toward credentials and career opportunities in the field.

Formación

• Valid New York State teaching certification appropriate for the Early Childhood Education program.
• Experience working with young children and developmentally appropriate instructional practices.
• Knowledge of preschool program operations, safety and curriculum planning.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in early childhood education and related career pathways.
• Teach high school students about child growth, development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Provide hands-on experiences in the preschool setting for student learning.
• Develop curriculum, assessments and projects to support student achievement and career readiness.
• Oversee daily operation of the preschool program and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Communicate with families and collaborate with colleagues to support program quality.
