Job summary

California State University, Chico seeks an Associate Dean of ECC (Administrator III) to lead in collaboration with Department Chairs and Directors, guiding programs and centers to advance the College's mission. The role functions as the primary operations administrator and represents the College in the Dean's absence within the university leadership team.

Ideal candidates will hold a terminal degree with unit-management experience, possess strong communication, planning, and analytical skills,

Qualifications

• Required Education and Experience: Doctorate or appropriate terminal degree or direct experience with one of the disciplines in the College of ECC.
• Also, direct experience in managing a unit. Teaching, scholarly and creative activity, and service experience sufficient to be tenured within the University.

Responsibilities

• Lead in forming and executing the College's mission with Departments, Programs and Centers.
• Serve as primary operations administrator of the College and member of the College leadership team.
• Represent the College in the Dean's absence and collaborate with university administrators to achieve goals.
