Under the general direction of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Academic Success, the Associate Dean provides academic, administrative, and organizational leadership for programs that advance equitable student success and high‑impact learning.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or terminal degree in a field related to Undergraduate Education.
• Five (5) years of leadership experience in higher education administration.
• Direct experience in managing a unit.
• Teaching, scholarly activity and service in student success, retention, and equity in higher education.
• Experience supervising professional staff, faculty, or managers.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, administrative, and organizational leadership for Undergraduate Education programs.
• Directly supervise nine faculty leaders, managers, and staff within assigned programs.
• Partner with the Vice Provost to set priorities and align portfolio with Academic Affairs and University priorities.
• Lead the portfolio to advance equitable student success, belonging, high-impact learning, and transitions into and through the University.
