Job summary

Astrolab, The Lunar Operations Company, is seeking a detail-oriented PCB Designer who will serve as ECAD Librarian. You will own the component library and ensure design consistency, manufacturability, and release readiness from schematic to manufacturing packages.

Entry to staff levels offered, leveling based on experience. You will collaborate with Responsible Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to drive designs from concept to production, aligning with DFM and release workflows for space

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
1+ years of PCB layout, library management, and component creation experience.
Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent ECAD tools preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform schematic capture and PCB layout for complex, high-reliability electronics.
Lead Altium component library development and lifecycle management.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure design integration and manufacturability.
Prepare designs for manufacturing with DFM readiness and create fabrication/assembly drawings.
Set up Altium project templates and deployment of PCB layout guidelines.
Develop documentation and training materials for Altium setup and release processes.
