Job summary

RTX seeks an Electrical Engineer (ECAD) in Huntsville, AL to design PCBs from concept to manufacture. You will create PCB, CCA, and schematic drawings for suppliers, perform schematic capture, routing, and Gerber/ODB++ file generation using Siemens Xpedition and BluePrint-PCB.

The role involves rigid, flex, and rigid-flex layouts and close collaboration with electrical, mechanical, and producibility teams. Minimum 2 years in PCB design, with DoD security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 2+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree counts toward years.
• Experience with PCB manufacturing or CCA manufacturing principles affecting circuitry and layout.
• Experience in the electrical design process and laying out rigid/flex boards.

Responsibilities

• Design PCB from conception to manufacturing.
• Create PCB, CCA, and schematic drawings for suppliers.
• Perform schematic capture, component placement, routing, Gerber/ODB++ file creation.
• Utilize Siemens Xpedition and BluePrint-PCB tools.
• Develop rigid, flex, and rigid-flex layouts.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines to meet design requirements.
