Job summary

Bedford North Lawrence High School is seeking a Star System Assistant to support the Color Guard and Percussion programs. You will assist with dance instruction, choreography, and program design under the Band Director, helping to elevate performance and artistic growth.

You will participate in rehearsals and competitions, foster a positive learning environment, and help with logistical and administrative tasks as directed.

Qualifications

• Experience in dance, choreography, or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of Color Guard and/or Percussion performance techniques is an asset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students and staff.

The Star System Assistant supports the Bedford North Lawrence (BNL) Color Guard and Percussion programs. This position involves assisting with dance instruction, choreography, program design, and other duties as assigned by the Band Director. The Star System is vital in enhancing the performance and artistry of the Color Guard and Percussion programs while contributing to their success.

Key Responsibilities

Salary

The teacher contract guides the salary for this position and follows the North Lawrence Community Schools Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) compensation schedule.
