Job summary

Young World Physical Education is looking for a dedicated Concession Stand Coordinator for Bedford North Lawrence High School. This individual will supervise concession operations at athletic events, manage inventory, ensure accurate cash handling, and create a positive experience for attendees.

Ideal candidates should possess strong communication and organizational skills, and be able to work evenings and weekends. Starting date is immediate, and successful applicants will coordinate with the Athletic Director.

Qualifications

• Must meet all NLCS hiring and background check requirements.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during athletic seasons.
• Prior experience in customer service, concessions, or event supervision preferred.

Description

North Lawrence Community Schools is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to oversee concession stand operations at Bedford North Lawrence High School athletic events. The Concession Stand Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of concessions, including setup, sales, inventory, cash handling, and clean‑up, while ensuring a positive experience for students, families, and community members.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and supervising concession operations for designated athletic events.
• Managing inventory, restocking, and securing supplies.
• Supervising student and/or adult volunteers assisting with concessions.
• Ensuring accurate cash handling and completing required financial documentation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
• Coordinating with the Athletic Director regarding schedules, needs, and event coverage.

Requirements

Stipend

Per NLCS Extracurricular Salary Schedule.

Contract Length

Seasonal assignment per the ECA schedule; annual appointment contingent upon board approval.
