Job summary

Cabarrus County Schools in Concord, NC seeks a 2026-2027 EC Tutor for a temporary, part-time position to support EC students in one-on-one, small group, and whole-class settings. The tutor will work with the EC team and administrators to determine the most effective tutoring approach. Flexible hours up to 20 per week with a cap of 530 contracted hours.

Starting date Sept 8, 2026. Pay range $15-$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• NC teaching licensure required or previously held.
• Minimum of three years' classroom teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of current curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement high-quality tutoring experiences for EC students, including individual and small group instruction.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to determine student needs.
• Communicate and collaborate with staff about student progress.
