Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and laws for EC.
• Ability to use technology and alternative communication forms.
• Knowledge of classroom management and differentiation techniques.
• Knowledge of IEP processes and progress documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist children individually or in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, school yards, and gymnasiums.
• Document student progress toward IEP goals.
• Present material to students under teacher guidance.
• Prepare lesson materials and classroom displays.
• Participate in daily bus and field trip duties.
