Job summary

Spectra Packaging is a leading manufacturer of plastic bottles and closures and seeks an Extrusion Blow Moulding Optimisation Engineer for a full-time days role (39 hours/week) in Indiana, USA. The role focuses on process improvement, efficiency, and quality within the moulding department, reporting to the Production Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years moulding experience in Extrusion Blow M moulding or related processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to deliver training and assess training requirements.
• Honest, dependable and accountable with a can-do attitude.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and resolve complex moulding issues.
• Support technicians to achieve target cycle times, quality and productivity.
• Develop robust process settings and standard operating procedures.
• Reduce scrap, customer complaints and process variation.
• Support new product developments to achieve production targets.
• Conduct and monitor machine servicing and performance.
• Provide technical support and critical thinking in production.
