Job summary

Graham Packaging Company seeks a hands-on Process Engineer to apply extrusion blow molding science and implement stable, repeatable manufacturing processes across Graham plants. You will diagnose machine issues and support new product development, reporting to the Global Technical Center in York, PA, with remote work options.

The role requires strong resin knowledge, expertise with various blow molding platforms, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Hands-on setup, operation, maintenance, rebuilding and troubleshooting extrusion blow molders.

Responsibilities

• Develop production processes for new products and generate SOCs.
• Optimize production processes and establish operational limits for key variables.
• Create and implement SOPs for process control and equipment setup.
• Provide training and auditing of SOPs.
• Drive continuous improvement in process engineering standard work and tools.
• Process unit cavity molds as part of development.
• Lead problem solving and provide robust solutions.
• Support process validation during equipment commissioning.
• Train plant personnel on machine setup and corrective actions.
• Provide written reports with recommendations to improve machine, mold and tooling.
