Qualifications

• Must meet all requirements for the position designated by the ISBE.
• 2 years of school-based experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out lessons to students as arranged by the teacher.
• Follow each student’s behavioral plan.
• Maintain a functional, attractive, orderly environment for learning.
• Assist the teacher with clerical tasks and routine paperwork.
• Monitor student behaviors during lunch and transitions.
• Complete Restrictive Intervention/Unusual Incident Reports.
