Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist students to develop independence and support lessons as directed by the special education teacher.
• Work with students individually or in small groups; adapt programming as written by the teacher.
• Follow each student’s behavioral and classroom management plans; maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Assist with clerical tasks, computer work, arts/crafts prep, and bus loading/unloading as needed.
• Contribute to staff meetings and data collection for monitoring academic and behavioral goals.
