Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an EBD Center-based Special Education Teacher to support K-5 students onsite near Maple Grove, MN. Work Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours weekly, from September 2026 through June 2027, with compensation ranging from $25.00 to $39.00 per hour. The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, families, and support staff to implement IEPs and positive behavior strategies in an innovative STEM-focused elementary setting.

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (Tier 3 or 4) required.
• Experience or strong interest in working with students in EBD programs.
• Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Skill in using proactive strategies to foster positive student behaviors.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning and behavioral needs.

Responsibilities

This position focuses on serving as an Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) Center-based Special Education Teacher, working onsite with students at an elementary school renowned for its emphasis on mathematics, science, and children’s engineering.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver targeted support for students requiring specialized instruction and behavioral interventions. You'll engage with exciting curriculum resources such as Project Lead the Way Launch, encouraging creativity, exploration, and hands-on learning, all while making a significant impact in the lives of your students.
