Job summary

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC is seeking a Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic groups for clients in our eating disorder treatment programs. You will co-facilitate evidence-based, recovery-focused groups and collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

You will document sessions, monitor engagement, and promote a safe, trauma-informed, and inclusive environment. This role offers ongoing training and opportunities for professional growth within a compassionate clinical culture.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional preferred.
• Certification or formal training in group therapy preferred.
• Training in eating disorder treatment or related specialty strongly preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification often required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
• Trauma-informed care training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and co-facilitate structured therapeutic groups for eating disorder clients.
• Implement evidence-based group interventions aligned with individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely group documentation in accordance with policy and regulation.
• Monitor client engagement, safety, and progress during groups, escalating concerns as needed.
• Collaborate with therapists, dietitians, nurses, and other team members on client care.
• Support a trauma-informed, inclusive, and recovery-focused milieu.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training.
• Educate clients on coping skills, relapse prevention, and healthy behaviors.
• Group therapy facilitation.
