Job summary

GENEDGE is seeking a Regional Growth Manager to serve as the primary contact for manufacturers in Eastern Virginia/Tidewater, developing relationships and connecting them to GENEDGE’s consulting, training, and technical services.

The role emphasizes manufacturing credibility, business acumen, and partnerships with economic developers, industry associations, universities, and investment groups to improve client outcomes across the Commonwealth.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience is required.
10+ years in or with manufacturing environments (ops, quality, supply chain, or consulting).
Strong ability to engage with manufacturing leadership and to collaborate with delivery teams.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary relationship owner for manufacturers in the Eastern Region (Tidewater through Richmond and up toward Northern Virginia).
Lead discovery conversations with owners, plant managers, and leadership teams.
Identify operational, quality, workforce, and growth challenges and translate needs into GENEDGE engagements.
Collaborate with Business Services Directors to scope, price, and structure projects.
Support project handoff and assist with light project coordination as needed.
Develop and maintain a regional pipeline of manufacturers and engagements.
