Job summary

OBR is seeking a Regional Health, Safety & Quality Manager to oversee and enforce HSEQ measures across the Eastern US Region, including integration of AMC into OBR’s framework. This is a remote position supporting the Eastern US, with ideal candidates in the Greater New York City area.

You will lead field audits, develop ITPs and safe work plans, provide safety training, and coordinate with corporate safety, project management, and customer EH&S teams. Travel about 50% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, management, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial health and safety.
• Certifications such as CSHO, CHST, ASP, or CSP preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 1–2 years of quality control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion OBR safety and quality programs in the East Region.
• Provide support outside of region as needed.
• Lead and enforce safety policies, procedures, and risk strategies.
• Perform regular field audits for projects in the region.
• Provide weekly reports for findings and deficiencies.
• Train personnel on HSEQ requirements.
• Provide safety expertise across employees, clients, and facilities.
