Job summary

HDR is seeking a Site Investigation and Remediation East Regional Practice Leader to drive growth across markets east of the Mississippi. This leadership role partners with national leaders to expand HDR's environmental investigation and remediation portfolio, recruit talent, and shape strategic pursuits.

The role focuses on expanding client relationships with new and existing HDR clients, leading major pursuits, and ensuring high-quality regulatory compliance on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or closely related field.
• 10+ years of experience in environmental site investigation and remediation.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license or reciprocity desired.
• Strong business development and client relationship experience.
• Knowledge of US federal environmental regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, CWA).

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of regional growth strategies.
• Identify high-value market opportunities and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with leadership to track performance against targets.
• Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients to expand HDR footprint.
• Lead pursuits, develop win strategies, and participate in contract negotiations.
• Represent HDR at industry conferences and regulatory forums.
• Provide technical leadership on site investigation and remediation projects.
