The role emphasizes ownership of customer relationships, development and execution of go-to-market plans, and training of sales reps. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in outdoor recreation sales and 4+ years in sales leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years sales experience with Outdoor Recreation retail/wholesale customers, preferably in the Hunt, Shoot segments.
• 4+ years sales management experience leading direct as well as indirect sales teams in the United States that service the Hunt, Shoot segments of the outdoor industry.
• 4+ years sales leadership experience developing annual strategies and plans that meet topline and profitability expectations in the Hunt, Shoot segment.
• Proven track record of developing and leveraging long-term customer relationships at the Sr. Buyer and Buyer level
• Proven track record of developing sales teams including recruiting, training, performance improvement
• Masters or MBA a plus

Responsibilities

• Own the relationship with all customer buyers and develop, present and execute go-to-market sales strategies.
• Train assigned sales representatives on products and programs and provide performance results to the Director of Sales.
