Job summary

Project Return Peer Support Network in California seeks a part-time Recovery Supporter to coordinate and support consumer-run self-help clubs, developing peer facilitator capacity and contributing to PRPSN activities. You will work with diverse groups and communities to advance recovery goals.

You will engage in outreach, recruit and train facilitators, and maintain essential records while collaborating with staff and supervisors to improve program delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college experience desired.
• Experience in mental health field preferred.
• Knowledge of recovery principles and peer specialist competencies desired.
• Peer Advocate training desired; CPR/ECPR training desirable.

Responsibilities

• Organize existing clubs/groups and help meetings run smoothly.
• Attend 10–15 weekly support groups to coach facilitators and monitor quality.
• Recruit, train and support peer facilitators and members.
• Develop relationships with local mental health agencies for recruitment and program development.
• Provide outreach to facilities, health fairs, and conferences to raise PRPSN awareness.
• Maintain records and complete internal billing paperwork monthly.
• Participate in staff meetings and help develop coaching tools and topics.
