Job summary

BODYROK is seeking an Area Operations Manager for the East Bay to oversee studio operations, enhance member experience, and drive financial success across Berkeley, Oakland, Rockridge, Alamo, and Walnut Creek studios.

You will recruit, train, and lead a diverse team, enforce policies, ensure clean, safe studios, and help achieve targets for service, cleanliness, revenue, and retention. This role is primarily focused on management with extensive studio oversight.

Responsibilities

• Manage studio operations and walkthroughs
• Manage Studio Advisor scheduling
• Manage Studio Advisor time and attendance
• Create and implement retail and water inventory/sales reporting
• Studio Advisor hiring (phone and in-person interviews)
• Manage Studio Advisor onboarding
• Manage studio binders and disciplinary documentation
• Oversee cleanliness and audits; lead performance reviews and events
