East Bay, CA Territory Account Executive

As a Territory Sales Account Executive, you will be part of a team transforming how restaurants operate. Using a consultative approach, you will prospect, build relationships, and sign up new restaurateurs in your local area. By understanding their unique needs, you will develop customized solutions to help their business thrive. We need your passion and sales expertise to help build the Toast brand in your geographic territory.

This is a field sales opportunity based out of a personal home office. You must live locally to San Francisco, CA (East Bay) or be willing to relocate to the area.

Responsibilities
  • Generate a list of prospective restaurants and manage the entire sales cycle from initial call to close (experience with self-sourcing clients is a plus)
  • Conduct demos and develop solutions that meet the prospect’s needs
  • Partner with teams across the business to ensure expectations set during sales are met in delivery
  • Leverage Salesforce to manage all sales activities
  • Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively in the market
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a sourcing or closing sales role, restaurant operations, or a related field
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding goals
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and team environment
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible
  • General technical proficiency with software

Compensation & Benefits

We offer competitive compensation and benefits to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Our total rewards include a base salary, uncapped commissions, benefits, and equity (if eligible). The estimated total targeted cash compensation ranges from $129,000 to $206,000 USD, depending on skills, experience, and location.
