Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Public Notary certification is required.
• Real Estate license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs legal title examination, survey, or legal description writings.
• Tracking and processing of easement documents to comply with state law; supporting transmittal of easement packages to GIS.
• Lead and maintain the document control and retention process for easement acquisitions.
• Acquires permits for federal lands and coordinates environmental compliance.
• Negotiates with property owners for rights of way and prepares related documents.
• Records property purchases, sales, and easements; prepares reports for status meetings.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
