EWI Recruitment is seeking an experienced Earthwork Estimator to join our busy civil engineering team. You will review drawings, prepare detailed earthworks estimates and manage multiple tenders within tight deadlines.

You should be proficient with estimating software, spreadsheets, read technical drawings, and convert cost data into competitive bids. This role offers varied projects and opportunities for professional development.

Qualificações

• Experience in earthworks or civil estimating.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficient with estimating software and spreadsheets.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review project drawings, specs, schedules and tender documentation.
• Prepare detailed estimates for earthworks, excavation, grading, drainage, haulage and related activities.
• Calculate labour, plant, materials, subcontractor and disposal costs.
• Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Carry out take-offs and site measurements.
• Identify project risks, exclusions, assumptions and cost-saving opportunities.
• Produce clear, competitive tender submissions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Support handover meetings and provide estimating information to delivery teams.
• Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations and tender outcomes.
