Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking an experienced Earthwork Estimator in Dallas, TX. You will prepare takeoffs with AGTEK, analyze geotechnical reports, and develop accurate site development estimates.

The role requires collaboration with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to secure competitive bids. You will manage leads via CRM, attend pre-bid meetings, and identify value engineering opportunities to maximize profitability while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven Earthwork Estimator in civil/site development.
• Experience with AGTEK takeoff and geotechnical analysis.
• Ability to read site plans, grading drawings, and civil docs.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed earthwork takeoffs using AGTEK and related software.
• Analyze geotechnical reports, site plans, and conditions to inform estimates.
• Develop cost estimates for site development, excavation, grading, and demolition.
• Utilize CRM to track leads and manage client communications.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and subcontractors for pricing.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and vendor negotiations.
• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities to improve bids.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals within deadlines.
• Communicate bid scope to field operations at pre-con meetings.
• Analyze competition and engage with owners, subs, and vendors.
• Refine pricing strategies with upper management.
• Develop and maintain regional bid opportunities.
