Job summary

Boyd's Electrical Service, Inc. is seeking a heavy equipment operator for its earth moving division. The ideal candidate will proficiently operate excavators and loaders, read civil prints for grade elevations, and perform routine maintenance to keep equipment in good condition.

Qualifications

• Experience operating earth moving equipment such as excavators and loaders.
• Ability to read civil prints to determine grade elevations.
• Willingness to understand and follow written and spoken instructions; able to use hand signals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.
• Hold a valid driver's license; Class A CDL is a plus.
• Operate excavating equipment (excavators, loaders) and similar machinery.
• Lift up to and beyond 75 pounds.
• Climb ladders or stairs; work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Travel to Nebraska-area jobsites as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management, customers, and team members.
