The role offers hands‑on experience across geoscience, geophysics, petrophysics, and data science, collaborating with geologists, engineers, data scientists, and software developers in cross‑functional projects.

Qualifications

• Students currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctorate Thesis program or with <2 years post‑graduate experience in geology, geophysics, geological engineering, or related fields.
• Strong academic performance in core programmes, communication, leadership, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills.
• Professional/academic focus in a technical area aligned with Chevron’s business needs.
• Ability to drive on a routine basis.
• Demonstrated commitment to The Chevron Way.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical assignments in geoscience, geophysics, and petrophysics.
• Support exploration, development, reservoir characterisation, and well operations.
• Collaborate with geologists, geophysicists, engineers, data scientists, and software developers on cross‑functional projects.
• Prepared technical reports and presentations under mentorship.
• Participate in field and lab visits as required.
