Job summary

Relative Dynamics in Sioux Falls, SD is hiring a Software/Database Engineer to support the USGS Landsat project. You will develop software primarily in Python, design database components, and optimize large-scale data workflows in a hybrid work setting.

You will collaborate with engineers, scientists, and mission partners to deliver mission-critical Earth science initiatives and enable efficient data processing in cloud environments. A strong SLDC background is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Three or more years of professional software engineering or database development experience
• Experience developing software in Python within Linux/Unix environments
• Experience supporting cloud computing environments
• Experience interfacing with relational database systems
