Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a highly talented Earnix Architect / Specialist to advance pricing and analytics for P&C insurance in Plano and San Antonio, TX. This on-site, full-time role requires 12–18 years of experience and deep Earnix pricing expertise.

You will collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product and Data Engineering teams to implement pricing rules, monitor performance, and deliver executive-level reports demonstrating rate adequacy and business impact.

Qualifications

• Earnix and pricing experience is mandatory.
• Hands-on Earnix Rating platform experience for P&C pricing.
• Proven Earnix integration with Guidewire or similar platform.
• Define and implement rate monitoring frameworks (KPIs, drift, alerts).
• Document pricing rules and validation standards.
• Perform pricing impact assessments across products, states and channels.
• Create exec-level reports and visualizations of pricing performance.

Job Title: Earnix Architect / Specialist

Position Type: Full-time

Location: Plano and San Antonio, TX

Onsite: Onsite (No remote)

Experience range: 12-18 years

Mandatory required skills: Earnix and Pricing Experience

Preferred/Desired skills: P&C Insurance

Must Have Skills

• Experience with pricing or rating platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Earnix Rating platform for P&C pricing/rating
• Proven experience integrating Earnix with Guidewire or similar platform
• Experience defining and implementing rate monitoring frameworks (KPIs, drift thresholds, alerts)
• Experience with documentation standards for pricing rules and validation
• Perform pricing impact assessments and comparative analyses across products, states, channels, and customer segments.
• Create executive-level reports and visualizations to communicate pricing performance, rate adequacy, loss ratio trends, and business outcomes.
• Validate pricing models and reporting outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Underwriting, Product, and Data Engineering teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Strong data validation and premium reconciliation experience
• Experience defining platform operating models and decision cadence

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $107,000 per year

Pay Range Maximum: $164,000 per year

Compensation and Benefits

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
