Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain rate tables, rating routines, and strategy trees within the Earnix platform, including tools like PriceIt and Model Builder.
• Configure underwriting rules, segmentation strategies, and rate calculation logic to align with business requirements across different lines of business.
• Integrate Earnix with peripheral systems, including core policy administration platforms like Guidewire PolicyCenter, using APIs and data pipelines.
• Analyze and manage data using advanced SQL (Oracle/SQL Server) to support rating, underwriting, and actuarial models.
• Embed predictive models from actuarial and data science teams into the Earnix platform for advanced pricing and decision‑making capabilities.
• Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure system integrity and performance.
• Develop test plans and document results using tools like Qtest.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including stand‑ups, sprint planning, and backlog refinement to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Provide demos to team members and business SMEs for feedback and sign‑off.
• Promote rule changes and products to the staging environment and manage production readiness sign‑off for online promotion to production.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure Earnix solutions meet all business and technical requirements.

Required Technical/Functional Skills

• Earnix software configuration experience, specifically with rate tables, rate order calculations, and data integration.
• Advanced SQL skills (Oracle/SQL Server) for data extraction, analysis, and integration.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and model integration.
• Integration experience between Earnix and peripheral systems, especially Guidewire in the context of P&C insurance.
• Strong background in P&C insurance, actuarial pricing, and rating algorithms.
• Experience with Earnix tools like PriceIt and Model Builder for configuring rating routines and underwriting rules.
• Ability to develop, maintain, and configure segmentation strategies and rate calculation logic.
• Excellent troubleshooting and testing skills with the ability to support and test complex integrations.
